LE GROOVE, a six-piece band comprised of seasoned local musicians from the Tri-Lakes, offers classic jazz, blues and swing sounds, with some Latin undertones as well as "a little French accent." The smooth combination of keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone and vocals evokes both vintage and modern sounds conducive to dancing and easy listening.

Le Groove’s goal has been to develop an eclectic repertoire incorporating American standards, latin, blues and swing selections, with an emphasis on strong, tight arrangements.
Influences range from the cool style of Peggy Lee’s "Fever" to the classic sound of Dave Brubeck’s "Take Five", and a wide variety in between, each infused with Le Groove’s own musical twist. Fortunate to have four members contributing to vocals, it is an added bonus to have the ability to offer French selections as well as a Portuguese version of "The Girl from Ipanema." One comment that is heard repeatedly following performances is that the listener never knows what to expect next. We like that !
